Royal Lancashire Lodge was extremely fortunate to be able to welcome WBro Peter Mason PJGD to the September meeting. WBro Mason is a highly experienced Masonic lecturer, in addition to being a published author with a total command of his subject matter.
The Brethren were, therefore, delighted to receive his lecture on “The Hidden Mysteries of the Third Degree Tracing Board”. Delivered in WBro Mason’s clear and concise style, many facts and features were fully explained, leading one worthy Brother to state that, although he had given the explanation of the tracing board many times over the years, the lecture had significantly increased his understanding of all the symbols it contains. As if WBro Mason had not done enough in the Lodge room, he also responded to the visitor’s toast at the Festive Board in a hilarious manner, rounding off a terrific evening of Masonic friendship, fellowship and education.
