Royal Lancashire Lodge continued its active social calendar and began their Christmas festivities with a Christmas Quiz and Social held at Colne Masonic Hall on Saturday, 17th December. There were 39 Lodge members and their guests who went head to head in what was a very enjoyable and sociable evening.
Quiz Master for the evening was our Worshipful Bro DC Trevor Thomas. There were questions to suit all interests and certainly had the room laughing and thoroughly engaged. To keep everyone on their toes, two sets of questions were offered – Fun Quizzer and Challenging Quizzer. Needless to say, everyone took on the challenge and joined in both sets of questions. To varying degrees of success!
Prizes were kindly donated and presented by our Quiz Master and were very well received.
During the festivities, there was a break to enjoy a superb buffet provided by the Lodge’s caterer, Michael Coady.
It really was a superb evening, and we raised £120 for our local Scout Group, 16th Pendle. The evening was closed by our Worshipful Master, Bro Duncan Walsh, who thanked everyone for making it such an enjoyable evening!
